Fresh Mozzarella often needs a little sprinkle of salt to perk up the flavor. It's a versatile cheese, delicious with everything from cured meats to tomatoes and basil or a even a simple baguette drizzled with olive oil. Fresh mozzarella is great melted on pizza although it can get a little stringy when soft. In some cases, a packaged, harder Mozzarella works best for cooking.
