England, only in the counties of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

Flavor:

More sweet than salty, minerally, earthy and sometimes a little spicy with a buttery-crumble texture

Uses and Pairings:

Serve Stilton with crackers or bread and pair with dried fruit, a fruit spread or a little drizzle of honey. Dessert wines like Port and Madeira pair well as do English ales.
