  • Maytag Blue
- Raw milk. Crumbly texture that becomes creamy in the mouth. A flavorful, slightly spicy blue that is not overpowering

The Cheesemakers:

Fred Maytag, grandson of the founder of the Maytag appliance company, started making blue cheese in 1941 with milk from his father's herd of Holstein cattle. Milk now comes from a dairy cooperative, but the cheese at Maytag Dairy is still made in small batches by hand.
